FILM INSTALLATION

Pre-Installation Preparation
  • Clean vehicle surface with high pH detergent to eliminate oil, dirt, grease, bugs, and road film.
  • Use high-pressure washing to remove dirt from seams around headlights, grilles, and fog lights.
  • Employ a clay bar to remove remaining paint defects.
  • Degrease with isopropyl alcohol; wipe dry with lint-free wipes.

Tools & Solutions
  • The XPERT Tool Kit contains all essential items for successful installation.
  • Use distilled or purified water to prevent mineral contamination.
  • Use neutral soap without additives — adjust concentration based on product type.
  • Prepare an alcohol solution at the recommended water-to-alcohol ratio for optimal adhesion.

Installation Environment
  • Install in a dust-free environment at 60F-90F (15C-32C).
  • Avoid direct sunlight and external contamination during installation.
  • Adjust procedures based on ambient temperature to optimize adhesion.

Installation Process
  • Follow specific recommendations per panel — avoid overstretching the film.
  • Ensure precise alignment without excessive stretching to prevent edge imperfections.
  • Wear gloves or keep hands wet to prevent fingerprints on the adhesive.

Film Removal
  • Remove film at a 45-degree angle toward yourself without excessive force.
  • Never remove at over 90 degrees or rip the film — adhesive may transfer to paint.

Maintenance
  • Allow film to fully cure before washing; keep pressure washers 50cm+ from edges.
  • Hand wash only with mild soap; avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Apply non-abrasive wax to High Gloss PPF at least twice a year.
  • Apply Hydrophobic Ceramic coating for enhanced protection.

WINDOW FILM
INSTALLATION

01
Pre-Installation Preparation
  • Gather all tools: window film, XPERT Cut Software, heat gun, squeegee, spray bottle with soap/water, lint-free cloths.
  • Clean car windows thoroughly with glass cleaner to remove all dirt, oil, and residue.

XPERT Cut Software
  • Input vehicle make and model to obtain ready-to-use dimensions.
  • Generate precise cutting templates for the window films.

Wet Application
  • Mist the outside of the window with soap/water solution for easy film maneuvering.
  • Peel the protective backing off and spray the adhesive side generously.
  • Use cutting templates to accurately cut film to size with a sharp razor blade.

Positioning & Application
  • Position pre-cut film onto the wet window, ensuring proper alignment.
  • Squeegee from the center outward to remove air bubbles and wrinkles.
  • Trim excess film along the window frame contour.

Heating & Curing
  • Use heat gun to activate adhesive and allow easier smoothing.
  • Allow to cure at least 48 hours before rolling windows or cleaning.
  • XPERT recommends re-inspection one week after installation.

Post-Installation Care
  • Clean with mild soap and water after curing to remove installation residue.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or rough materials that can scratch the film.
  • Clean regularly with a soft cloth and gentle cleaner to preserve appearance.

CERAMIC COATING
APPLICATION

Pre-Application Preparation
  • Wash vehicle with pH-neutral shampoo and microfiber mitt; dry completely.
  • Park in a dust-free, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
02
Surface Decontamination
  • Use a clay bar with lubricant to remove embedded contaminants: tar, tree sap, industrial fallout.
  • Work in small sections until the surface feels smooth.
03
Paint Correction (Optional)
  • Use a dual-action polisher and polishing compounds to correct swirls or scratches.
  • A flawless surface ensures maximum ceramic bonding and best final appearance.
04
Coating Application
  • Apply a small amount onto an applicator pad; work one panel at a time.
  • Use overlapping linear motions in a cross-hatch pattern for full, even coverage.
  • Allow coating to flash for the manufacturer-recommended time (typically 1-3 minutes).

Buffing & Curing
  • Gently buff and level with a clean dry microfiber towel in small sections.
  • Allow to cure 24-48 hours; avoid water or contaminants during curing.

Post-Application Care
  • Wash regularly with pH-neutral shampoo and dry with clean microfiber towel.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, and automatic car washes with abrasive brushes.
  • Inspect periodically for wear and perform touch-ups as needed.

  • Hand wash only with mild soap; pressure washers must stay 50cm+ from edges.
  • Apply non-abrasive wax or ceramic coating twice yearly.
